The new model GBA SP™ comes in a redesigned clamshell case with a screen that flips up (just like a lot of mobile phones). Further finally Nintendo has added the so much missing Frontlit. Last but not least the GBA SP™ comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery as standard, providing the unit with 10 hours of battery life with the light on and 18 hours of play with it off.

This stylish new unit measures 82 x 84.6 x 24.3mm, weights 143g only and plays back all usual Game Boy Advance™ and of course also standard Game Boy (Color)™ games.

way cool. must have for those who need to go portable
i have a wii, and i want something inexpensive, something with good games such as metal slug, or harry potter, and zelda, and none of those are on ds(i sold my ds lite after 2 months)so i think i\'m gonna get an sp.

gameing sistem
i is loving this sistem much! it is much werth the extra $19 to have it black japanese instead of crappey usa onyx. they look the same but beleive me black japanese souonds much coolier then onyx usa. buy this instaed of the usa versoin at 20$ les.

gameboy sp
A very big improvement compared to the gameboy advance. Mainly speaking about the screen, it is bright and clear. Much easier to see than the previous gameboy advance. It\'s only downfall for me (this is personal preference) is its extremely small size. With out a set of grips or some other aftermarket component, it can make my hands cramp after a couple hours of play. That doesn\'t bother me too much though considering I don\'t usually play for more than an hour. The battery included can supposedly run for ten hours while backlit. I personally think it runs a little longer than nintendo says, but I could be wrong. All in all it is a very well designed and quality game system.
