The new kaiju anime series "GAMERA -Rebirth-", which streamed worldwide on Netflix in 2023 and aired in a re-edited version on NHK General in April 2025, is now available as a Blu-ray BOX. Directed by Hiroyuki Seshita, known for works such as "Lupin the Third vs Cat's Eye", "GODZILLA", and CG character direction on "Suzume", with scripts by Kenta Ihara of "Saga of Tanya the Evil" and kaiju designs by Miki Takahama, who has worked on all Heisei-era Gamera titles. Studio ENGI brings the story to life with cutting-edge 3D animation. Contains all 12 episodes. Comes in a deluxe edition with a box featuring newly drawn kaiju artwork by Miki Takahama, plus a special booklet. Video extras include all 12 re-edited TV episodes as aired on NHK General, a collection of commercials and promotional videos, and previs footage.

Storyline:
Summer 1989. Sixth graders Boko, Joe, and Junichi are spending their last summer vacation as elementary school students, each carrying vague worries about the future. One day, Brody, the son of a US military commander stationed in Japan, appears and steals the money the three had saved together. As they prepare a plan to get it back, disaster strikes the town. Kaiju Gyaos suddenly attacks Tokyo. The four children stand frozen in the ruins as Gyaos targets them, when a giant kaiju appears: Gamera. This marks the beginning of their "kaiju summer". Kaiju continue to appear as the wounded Gamera fights on, and the boys bear witness to a living legend.
