Not exactly like World of Tanks but still fun.
Control the tank with the left analog, aiming with the right.

The different chapters are just like in the anime and you have the option to play the chapter using the tank of a different team.

Unlike what other reviewers say, weak points exist in the tanks. Each tank has different characteristics which affect how it fights. Some tanks do not have movable turrets for instance.

Get the R2 Japan version. The DLC included in the R3 version works only for Hong Kong and Taiwan. THis is the same kind of nonsense I saw in One Piece Unlimited World Red for Vita where some suppliers had copies of the game with dlc that only worked for thoese two countries. Both games are by Bandai Namco. Conicidence? They should stop doing nonsense like this!

Follows the anime
This game pretty much exactly follows the anime.
Controls are a bit strange and can't be changed.
It's good though, there certainly aren't any better tank games on vita.

Fun game
Cleared the game, It follows the anime storyline just right.
Gameplay are simple and easy, good for passing the time.

As for downside, if you played any other tank games before this then the controls are bit awkward and the Tanks doesn't doesn't have weak spot to aim at.

Stay true to the anime.
Here's my point based review so its easy to read.
1. Girls and Panzer is game based truthfully to the anime.
If you watched the anime, chances are you know plot lines and characters easily.
2. Very little Japanese language knowledge required.
3. Works great with Vita Tv.
