Item Description

The Prologue Edition will feature five courses - New York, the Grand Canyon, an Italian town, and Japan's Fuji Speedway and Tsukuba Circuit - which were also already seen in previous demos of Gran Turismo 4. The New York course will be centered on Times Square, while the Fuji Speedway will be a reproduction of the real course before it underwent massive remodeling. Even though the Tsukuba Circuit is well-known in Japan, this will be the first time that the course will be included in the GT series. About 50 cars will be selectable in the Prologue Edition which, while a vast selection for a racing game, is still small when considering that the final GT4 will feature over 500 vehicles.

Gran Turismo 4 Prologue will supports the new GT Force Pro steering wheel, an enhanced version of Logicool's force feedback racing controller. The Prologue will support online battle modes, this will become available in the final release of GT4 only.

GT4 Prologue Version will come with 3 game modes: Free Run, Licence Tests and Time Attack mode.

Driving Force Pro Bug Spoils GT4 Prologue

The new Driving Force Pro has amazing Force Feedback effects! Sadly there is an admitted, by Sony, bug in GT4 P that causes the wheel to swing wildly to full lock at the Grand Canyon and Citta tracks.
I hope play-asia.com can help those not in Japan to exchange this game for the bug free version!
The game? Fantastic! Be the first to drive many great cars ranging from the new Prius to the 05 Ford GT supercar! The licence tests continue in the Gran Turismo tradition and are very challenging and the most creative scenearios to date! Unlocking the new Honda HSC may take all winter!
The \"Winter Racing Pack\" white PS2 (really much quieter running now) and GT4 P are a nice update for the GT fanatic. Add the GT Force Pro and it is closer than ever to the \"Real Driving Simulator\"!
