The 3D action-adventure Hungry Ghost is set in the land of the dead and gamers can play a recently deceased damned soul.The games version of hell consists of a world, full of different choices and characters. The goal is to reach the 'Gates of Judgement' where the ghosts fate is decided based on its actions throughout the game.The character is initially bound for hell but is given the chance to redeem himself during the course of the game.The 'Hungry Ghost' refers to the Japanese title Gaki or starving demons who inhabit hell in Buddhist writings.死後世界の遥か先には、死者が「最期の審判」を受ける「審判の門」があるという。この先、あなたが、この死後世界で行う全ての行動に対し、そこで審判が下される。無論、「審判の門」まで無事にたどり着けるかどうかなど、知る由も無い。何故なら、この世界には、欲と血に飢えたゴースト達が溢れかえっているから。
