BEST GAME!!
Initial D for the PS3 is great game and is very similar to Arcade Stage Version 4. The game might be in japanese, but you can view online game plays on YouTube or search online for the English Manual(Won't include the Online part so look on youtube), and etc. It doesn't take long to figure everything out.
Crisp Graphics with 720p, looks good on Big HD screen and sounds well too.
There are many cars to choose from and there is even DLC(Comics, Free Car pack and etc), however, I prefer to make a Japanese PSN Account to download the packs(Going to need some Yen on your Japanese Wallet).
By the way, the Japanese version does include Online play, while the Asian version doesn't, which is a BIG +! Don't need a Japanese Account.
The cars can be customized to the players depending what look style they want on the car, using points earned after each battle, and you can Engine tune, Add Aeros, Tuned the handling and, etc parts of the car.
The bad part is the controls, this game is not handled well with the SixAxis PS3 Controller(If you want to be good, train more), so it is better to buy a steering wheel(any as long it works on a PS3) to enjoy full potential of racing!
Graphics: 5/5 Very good, Looks very nice and Smooth 60fps.
Sound: 4.5/5 Good songs, maybe could of had more songs like in Special Stage
Gameplay: 4/5 Perfect, it really shows off drifting in Initial D franchise.
Final Score: 4.5/5
Reccommended Game! for racing/drifters/initial D fans, is very fun when you get into it. Please buy a wheel to enjoy the gameplay and you won't be disapointed.
Great online play, and customizability to your cars.
