I no longer regret selling my Nomad!
Very compatible, everything plays as it should. I haven't tried anything weird yet (Virtua Racing, Sonic & Knuckles, J-Carts), but it loads and plays from my Mega Everdrive, which is all I really need. I have a stack of the compatible batteries from various flashlights, so I can play for days away from a power source.
