One fateful day, without any warning, the labyrinthine city of Orario was transformed. A "World of Water" emerged.In this submerged city, Bell Cranel meets a mysterious girl.

"Fullland."

Calling him this, she disappeared as if inviting him to play. At the same time, he received a glowing, blue sword.

Bell remembered the heroic tale "Fullland of Water and Light", which he had once read. Perhaps this was the clue to solving the mystery of their current predicament.

n the sunken Orario, Bell and his group follow the trail of the characters as dictated in the heroic tale. What they find there are an abundance of thoughts and feelings not depicted in "Fulland of Water and Light".

This is a “story beyond love”, where the heroes struggle and the spirits dream. A completely original story from the mind of Fujino Omori! In addition to the deep main story, sub-stories can also be read by reaching "Scenario Points" during exploration!

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Familia Myth - Fulland of Water and Light
A metroidvania style game with a dash of darksouls like difficulty especially on action or hard modes. This is typically not you usual button masher as it does take some skill and strategy to defeat your foes.
This holds true when battling any of bosses as you can't just charge in as timing is key and planning ahead on time. Otherwise you'll be seeing the game over screen many times like I did.
The story as a whole is the usual grandiose epicness that Omori-sensei writing is known for. Since the plot shifts over to a darker tone over time as more twists and turns unravels.

Action overall was great fun especially as you can build your playable characters as you see fit to suit your battle style. So there is some replayability here as you could come up with some challenges on different playthroughs.

The maps were also pretty big so it is well worth to explore all of it as you are rewarded in doing so, since you will be able to power-up your playable characters more and have an easier time in battle.

Finally the music was great and visuals were pretty eye-catching. I never wanted it to end as I wish there was more. I wouldn’t mind another entry in this style of gameplay.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Familia Myth - Fulland of Water and Light
This is a pretty enjoyable game. The game play is balanced being both fun and challenging. The story is interesting, the music is great and the visuals look gorgeous.
