The album title ``JEWEL'' was named by Manami Komori herself based on the concept of ``a treasure that you have cultivated with the people you love.'' Furthermore, Manami Komori's new song "JEWEL ~Kimi to Arukita Seishun~" will be included to commemorate her 40th anniversary. The lyrics of the new song were written by Manami Komori herself. The song was composed by the late musician Fumiaki Ikema, who composed many of her signature songs, and revived it to the present day. He also worked on arrangements for songs such as ``A Cruel Angel's Thesis'' (opening theme for the TV anime ``Neon Genesis Evangelion'') and ``Refrain of the Soul'' (composing and arranging the theme song for the movie ``Neon Genesis Evangelion: New Genesis'').
Musician Toshiyuki Omori will participate.
