Item Description

The game features many elements present in the original MapleStory, such as needing to fight monsters and complete quests in order to make the player character more powerful. The game also features 4 different character classes, two of which are unlocked after completing the game once.

After a jewel called Rubian causes the destruction of the kingdom of Sharenian via an ancient evil, it is split into four parts. Each playable character comes to acquire a piece of it and each sets out to unite with one another in order to recreate the jewel and expose and destroy the ultimate evil.

no words... is maplestory!
the best option to play maplestory in your nintendo DS if you can't understad korean...

japanese is less complicated to understad, just need know basic hiragana & katakana.

i recommend to anyone to play this title and the 3ds version too

Not just for Maplestory Fans
Maplestory DS is a single player spinoff from the popular MMO from Nexon. The content is lifted straight from the MMO and put on the handheld in a single player experience which tells the story of Mapleland.

You take the roles of 4 classes from the MMO, the Warrior, Thief, Magicain and Bowman over the course of the game. The game adds alot of mechanics of controlling the character which are not found in the MMO. You're character can run, have explosive skills to damage and attack more quicker which can take out the monsters in the world. The game also allow you to have an AI controlled parther to fight alongside you meaning there alot of action which makes put of the gameplay.

Being an RPG, players can equip items found in the world aswell as talk and interact with the NPCs which allow tell the story.

It's really text driven in Japanese.

Maplestory is a good title for the DS and I recommend anyone to play this game aswell as it's a must have for Maplestory fans.
