Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legend The Movie

long title, but a really awesome movie... one of a few japanese only disc out there that actually has legit english subtitles

The movie is a very entertaining sequel to the "Ultra Galaxy: Mega Monster Battle" TV Series, so if you want to enjoy (and understand) this movie, I recommend to watch at least that series first. Of course, this is a movie for the fans of the entire Ultra series, so they will be the ones who will fully enjoy the movie. Lots of flashy monster fights (too many fights for my taste in fact) and special effects, some surprising appearances and a nice exploration of the origins of the Ultra-beings are inside this movie, so if you enjoy the Ultra series, you MUST watch this movie. It could be better with less fights and a more developed and complex story/characters, but nevertheless is a very good addition to the Ultraman universe.

As for the Blu-Ray edition, good image quality (but not excellent) and very good sound quality, with TrueHD and PCM options. Special features include:

- Audio commentary.
- Trailer and TV spot gallery.
- Designs and storyboards interactive gallery.

All menus and special features are japanese-only with no subtitles, but the movie itself includes english subtitles.

however ultraman fans don't care too much just buy it because of " Ultraman "
