Hunters can face off against the largest roster of unique monsters in any Monster Hunter game to date. Players take on the role of a brave hunter challenging larger than life beasts that yield valuable resources used for crafting unique weapons and equipment. Accept hundreds of quests solo or with friends in this nostalgic look back at the series’ beginnings and evolutions. Along the hunter’s journey, players must defend each of the game’s four villages from major threats known as the Fated Four, plus an even more dangerous new Elder Dragon.

Great purchase
By far the most 'worth it' purchase ive made for the switch, Monster hunter is a great series and to use the switch's hardware to go beyond the capabilities that the 3DS/N3DS can offer.
Highly Recommended if you are a fan of both the system and the series.

Its monster hunter! If you played before then you can overcome the language barrier, and you can use the guides and wikis which are awsome in explaining all

It's Monster Hunter
If you've played any MH game before you can play this even without knowing Japanese. The only thing you might have to look up is skills and maybe some gathering quests, they show you what monsters you need to hunt. You'll miss out on the story but who plays this game for the story?
Basically if you have a Switch and are craving a Monster Hunter for it you need this game.
