Three-Pointer
Quite an enjoyable game to pick up and play. Do note the server for this game has been taken down by 2k so you can no longer play on-line. I recommend you to go for 2k10 or 2k11 if the price is around the same.

Best in the NBA2K series
I've had every NBA2K game since the first one on Dreamcast and this is the best of the series. I highly recommend it. Animations are fluid, controls are solid, and there are a ton of customization options. New to this edition is the 5 on 5 gameplay.

Most realistic basketball sim so far
Having played almost all the Live series since 98 and converted to 2K in 08...2k is kind of fun to pick up and play but takes a while to master. I suggest getting this if you can/want to invest or have enough time into this game otherwise Live may be better for casual ballers (and a more user friendly party game) of the two.

best nba i've ever played so far
good game, good graphic, good animation, good gameplay, the control is kind of complex for beginner's though.
