By a strange twist of fate,
Okayu Nekomata, the beloved mascot of a local rice ball shop, had taken on human form.
After meeting the protagonist, she found herself falling in love— and together, they spent their days in mischievous laughter and gentle happiness.
One winter, an unexpected letter arrived: an invitation to participate in a Tokyo specialty goods fair. “If we succeed there, our shop will really take off!” Eager to seize the opportunity, the protagonist set out to create a new product— but inspiration refused to come.
Noticing his frustration, Okayu smiled warmly and said, “Then how about this? Let’s take a trip to Aomori together. We’ll go collect all the delicious ideas we can find♪”
And so began their journey of product development— which, by all appearances, was really more of a lovers’ trip.
A bond born from divine mischief deepened with every detour, as the two found themselves falling more and more in love.
