The first vinyl release of a work produced by Koji Ueno for the full-length film “Untamagiru” (1989) by Go Takamine, a film director from Ishigaki Island, Okinawa, Japan!
It is a work of what might be called strange ambient music that seems to describe an imaginary Okinawa filled with aesthetic appeal.
The song expresses a warm and weary atmosphere and an open-hearted spirit in a way that dares not be confined to traditional Ryukyuan folk melodies.
This vinyl release includes three bonus tracks: a piano version of the film's theme song “Untama Giru,” and “Mekaru's Room” and “Machibui Vortex” from the film “Mugen ryukyu tsuru Henri” directed by Go Takamine.
