Yumi Hanazono is a ten-year-old girl who loves flowers and drawing and dreams of becoming a manga artist. As the only child of Flower Town, she one day receives a magical stick from the flower fairies Kakimaru and Keshimaru as a token of gratitude for cherishing flowers. Any picture drawn with the stick jumps out as a real object. Though Yumi excitedly waves the stick, its power comes with a time limit.
