GRANDE SCALE Gene (Stellatears Version) is a large‑scale plastic model kit (Girlpla) developed by Kotobukiya, based on the main heroine Gene from Phantasy Star Online 2 es. This kit reimagines Gene in her later‑story Stellatears outfit, redesigned and upscaled using Kotobukiya’s precision GRANDE SCALE engineering approach to deliver an impressive model approximately 250 mm tall when assembled.

The Stellatears costume is faithfully recreated, featuring its distinctive, more daring design—engineered in‑game to increase photon absorption efficiency. The enlarged scale allows for significantly improved part separation, sharper sculpted details, and refined color accuracy compared to smaller releases. Kotobukiya has reworked the original CAD data to enhance both aesthetics and articulation, ensuring the figure remains highly poseable despite its size.

This kit includes three pre‑painted face plates (smiling, sad, and flustered), allowing builders to display a range of expressions straight out of the box. Fully poseable ball‑joint wrists and six interchangeable hand parts per side provide expressive posing options, including a special peace‑sign hand inspired by the game’s anniversary artwork. Decals for eyes and markings are included for added realism.

Gene is equipped with the double saber “Fossilbauer”, a revised version of her signature weapon featuring updated color molding. The weapon can be displayed in both stored and deployed states, with clear blade parts available for the activated form.
