This is a student band rare groove at its finest! A storm of jazz-funk from the 70's by the brass band of Cashmere High School in Houston, Texas, with grooves so amazing you'd never guess they were high school students! The songs, jacket design, sound quality, and all other aspects of this rare groove masterpiece will be released on LP! As the album title suggests, this is the 6th album released in 1974, consisting of original songs! Almost all of the songs are written by Conrad Johnson, who leads the band as a teacher, including "Kashmere" ( A3 ), which starts with a long drum break and has a series of killer breakbeats, "Head Wiggle" ( B2 ), a driving funk tune with a driving bass, and "Aggressive" ( B3 ), a funk tune with the members themselves dancing around. The band members themselves dance around to the big band funk tune "Do You Dig It Man?
