The concept of Pochinya is similar to Puyo Puyo. You connect 4 or more blocks of the same color, however, the blocks do not extinguish by itself, you have to press the C button to make them disappear. This adds a new level of strategy, because you can stock up a large pile of same color blocks and extinguish all of them at once, or it to defend yourself when you are attacked by the rival.「ポチッとにゃ～」は、あの「コンパイル」のスタッフが制作した新世代落ち物パズルゲームです。“簡単で、奥が深く、熱い！”というコンセプトにこだわり、戦略性、爽快感を高めたゲームシステム。「つないで・分岐・発火」が「ポチッとにゃ～」の３つのポイント。落ちてくる“にゃん（ブロック）”を同じ色同士タテにヨコになが～く「つないで」、T字型や十字型の「分岐」をたくさん作り、仕込みができたらいつでも好きなときにボタンひとつで“にゃん”を「発火」。相手フィールドの状況を把握した“攻撃”と“防御”で、これまでの落ちゲーにはない駆け引きや読み合いに誰でも思わず熱くなってしまう新感覚落ち物ゲームが「ポチッとにゃ～」です。

Awesome.
This game is a combination of Puyo Puyo and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. Falling blocks can be changed with a button into \"spike\" blocks to destroy bottom blocks. It\'s a simple concept, but it\'s really fun. Probably more fun with a second player, but I haven\'t tried that out yet. I\'d definitely recommend this to puzzle lovers or people who are up for a puyo-esque challenge.
