Kitties!
The game is a mixture of the pet sim Nintendogs and the photographing game Afrika. You take care of the cat rather similarly to Nintendogs: give it food, bathe it, play with it.

Earning shopping money differentiates the game from Nintendogs. You earn points (used as currency) by taking photographs and have them rated. The cat and his friends move around the house and you try to catch the best moments. There are also photography missions to fulfill. Everything except the missions are easy to play without knowing the language.

Poyo Poyo is a surprisingly nice attempt at an original pet sim. However after you've gone through the initial phase of getting to know the house and all the animals, there doesn't seem to be enough content to keep you busy. You can notice it misses the variety of actions Nintendogs had.

Still an interesting title for fans of Poyo Poyo Kansatsu Nikki or cartoon cats in general.
