Item Description

Rhythm Doctor is a challenging one-button rhythm game coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, where players save patients by pressing in time with the seventh beat while mastering intricate rhythms, enjoying story-driven levels, and discovering a memorable cast of doctors and patients.

Set in a world where synchronizing a patient's heartbeat with a precisely timed defibrillation can save their life, the game challenges players to treat patients with unusual rhythm-related conditions. As the story unfolds, each patient introduces new musical challenges, while unexpected rhythm changes and disruptive boss viruses test the player's timing, concentration, and ability to keep the beat.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀

𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲-𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘀

Focus on timing rather than complicated button combinations. Press in sync with the seventh beat to treat patients, with the challenge coming from increasingly intricate rhythms and unexpected musical patterns.

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗵𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗺 𝗣𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲𝘀

Learn to recognize polyrhythms, hemiolas, irregular time signatures, and other musical concepts through gameplay. Each level introduces new rhythmic challenges that test your precision, listening skills, and concentration.

𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀

Play through more than 20 handcrafted levels, each with its own story and musical ideas. Meet a varied cast of doctors and patients whose interconnected experiences create an overarching, character-focused narrative.

𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀

Follow lively musical tracks while responding to visual cues that help communicate the rhythm. The presentation can also deliberately mislead your perception, making it important to trust the beat rather than rely solely on what you see.

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼-𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆

Experience the story alone or invite a friend to join the campaign through drop-in, drop-out local multiplayer. Cooperative play adds another layer of coordination as players work through the game's rhythm challenges together.

𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀

Take on Night Shift versions of levels for a tougher test of your rhythm skills. These more demanding challenges are designed for players who want to push their timing and consistency further.

𝗡𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Rhythm Doctor has been announced for Nintendo Switch 2 alongside the original Nintendo Switch version, bringing its distinctive rhythm-based medical adventure to Nintendo consoles. Specific Switch 2-exclusive gameplay enhancements have not yet been detailed in the available announcement.
