Atelier in 3D
This game was Gust's first step into the world of next-gen consoles, and as a result we have a delightful little RPG in 3D, haunted by a couple bugs. Seeing how its their first 3D game, I will not "bug" Gust too much about their freeze errors or graphical errors, but I am just putting that out there, hence 4 stars. If you are looking for ultra-modern 3D, this is not for you. But if you want a fun lovable JRPG with plenty of replay value, cute characters, and lots of alchemy and crafting, this is just right.

Atelier Rorona is not a hardcore game by any means, but you may want to play the game over and over to unlock all of the many, many endings. This game does not have an epic save-the-world hero story, it is just about an average girl and her friends trying to keep her atelier from being closed down. The game has a good "mix" of turn-based battles, material gathering, and crafting. The dungeons are not difficult to navigate, and the only real bosses in the game are optional. But this is how the game is supposed to be. If you want a hardcore epic RPG, move along. But if you are a Gust fan, or looking for a light-hearted, cute, comedic experience, this game is perfect for you.
