Sai-Kyo-Oh! Zukan: Classic Battle Kings is the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 battle-action game based on the popular Sai-Kyo-Oh! Zukan anime, bringing insects, modern animals, dinosaurs, extinct creatures, and legendary dragons together in chaotic four-player battles—with the new Switch 2 release supporting shared-controller play and local GameChat communication for multiplayer fun.
Based on the anime Sai-Kyo-Oh! Zukan: The Ultimate Tournament, Sai-Kyo-Oh! Zukan: Classic Battle Kings brings the series' dream matchups into an action-packed battle game for Nintendo Switch 2. Players can take control of powerful creatures from different species and eras, including Hercules beetles, hornets, polar bears, lions, Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Imperial Mammoths, Fire Drakes, and Yinglong.
The game focuses on easy-to-learn, chaotic battles where players attack opponents to fill the Sai-Kyo Gauge and activate King Mode, transforming their creature into a gigantic powerhouse. Magical stones scattered throughout the battlefield can provide powerful abilities for dramatic comebacks, while defeated players can continue participating by dropping meteors onto their opponents.
Dream Battles Across Time
Take control of powerful creatures selected from insects, modern animals, dinosaurs, extinct animals, and legendary dragons, creating matchups that cross species and eras.
Simple and Intuitive Controls
The game is designed so players can jump into the action quickly, with attacks that can be performed intuitively using simple button controls.
King Mode Transformation
Attacking opponents fills the Sai-Kyo Gauge. Once the gauge is full, players can activate King Mode, causing their creature to grow dramatically larger and giving them the opportunity to overwhelm their rivals.
Magical Stones for Comebacks
Magical stones appearing during battles contain the powers of various Sai-Kyo-Oh! Zukan characters. Using these powers strategically can turn the tide of a losing battle.
Stay in the Action After Being Defeated
Getting knocked out does not necessarily mean the end of your participation. Defeated players can continue interfering with the battle by dropping meteors onto other creatures.
Up to Four Players
The Nintendo Switch 2 version supports up to four players in TV and tabletop modes. Shared-controller play and GameChat/local communication features allow friends to join the chaotic battles together.
A Diverse Creature Roster
Confirmed fighters include Hercules beetles and giant hornets from the insect group; polar bears and lions among modern animals; Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus among dinosaurs; Imperial Mammoths among extinct animals; and Fire Drakes and Yinglong among dragons.
