Nippon Columbia's global brand NIPPONOPHONE reissues selected masterpieces from Nippon Columbia's extensive catalog.
Segawa Hiroshi's solo album, which pursues country rock and southern rock in Japanese, is a treasure of Japanese rock, bringing together members of Flower Travellin' Band, Samurai, and PYG.
When the GS boom subsided and new rock was in full swing, Segawa Hiroshi was one of the few who pursued country rock and southern rock in Japanese. While most bands were oriented towards British rock, Segawa Hiroshi was one of the few who pursued country rock and southern rock in Japanese. The album "Pierrot," which is one of the culminations of this endeavor, was produced by a lineup representative of Japanese new rock, including Hideki Ishima and Kozuki Jun of Flower Travellin' Band, Yamauchi Tetsu and Harada Yushin of Samurai, and Ohno Katsuo of PYG. The album is reissued with additional recordings of the single "Kimi Ga Ita Shiroi Heya," released the year after "Pierrot," and remastered by Kubota Makoto.
