Yosuke Yamashita Trio, Itaru Oki Trio, Yuji Ohno Trio, and Kimiko Kasai.
Three trios and one vocalist, making it Trio by Trio Plus One. This is a live recording from a jazz workshop held in 1970, originally released as part of Victor's [Japanese Jazz] series. Notably, this work includes a unique seven-member ensemble with Oki Trio + Ohno Trio + Kasai-a performance that exists nowhere else, before or after. This powerful double album is a stark reminder of just how original Japanese jazz was.
