Item Description

Sengoku Basara X is the collaboration between Capcom and Arc System Works. It takes the 3D hack and slash adventure title Sengoku Basara and converted it into a 2D fighter for the arcades. The PS2 game is then a powered up conversion of this 2D fighter with more fighting modes and features.In its arcade predecessor, players pummel their opponents until their health bars depletes completely within a given time. They are allowed to call for support or launch special attacks once certain conditions are fulfilled.The PS2 version comes with a new challenge mode where the player has to clear 12 stages in total in a given amount of time. During your fights, items may appear in treasure boxes, be sure to grab them, as these items may heal your wounds or push back your time limit. Make use of these to defeat difficult bosses.Your fights determine the stylish points you will get and there are a number of ways to obtain high points. For certain fights, a number of gold coins will appear in the air in the form of the words “BAS” grab all these coins without taking damage from your opponents to get a high score. In some circumstances you will be able to obtain titles, the rarer the titles you are awarded with or the more coins you can get, the better (and more stylish) a fighter you are.

Good Game.

This is a good fighting game of Sengoku Basara with 1 to 1 fights. The game is similar with Hokuto No Ken fighting game to PlayStation 2 ... the graphics style, the gameplay and the combos are really similar with Hokuto No Ken. If you like of Sengoku Basara is a good choice. I love to play with Date Masamune, my favorite character. Good game to play with friends!

Needs story

Being a fan of both GGX and SenBara I really looked forward to this game. I was a little disappointed that there was no story mode. Only arcade mode. I came away feeling like it was a take home training for the Arcade cabinet. Never the less. I did enjoy this game and had fun playing as Kojuuro and beating the crap out of Hanbei. The alternate colors were awesome too. Maybe we will see Masamune and Yukimura on a Capcom vs. ? PLZ?

This game is awesome

If you a fan of the basara series then I highly recommend this game,it has some issues (I know ppl complained about the sound issues,hell the Capcom Fighting Games on the PS1 had the Audio problems,due either the programming or the audio capatabilities on the PS1 and PS2.),aside from that it is a awesome game and if you like GGXX then you'll like this.
