More than just a novelty
I bought this just because it looks cool. As it turns out, this controller unlocks features in the Super Game Boy that you otherwise can\'t access. A switch changes between SFC and SGB modes.

In SFC mode, it\'s just an (awkward) SNES controller. In SGB mode, one button opens the SGB menu (like pressing L+R), one switches colors (same as X), one is Mute, and one switches between two levels of slow motion.
