This is a story about people who own the two "Forces" of light and darkness.Compared to previous Shining Force titles, the genre has this time been changed from a traditional strategy RPG to an action RPG with some strategical elements. You take the role as Max and create a team of 3 characters. A total of more than 10 characters are playable in the game. During battles, up to 3 characters can fight at the same time.
