Item Description

Designed by Tony Taka, Xecty the war elf is here to show her military colors. Soft frills, ribbons and the hard edge of the blade form a sharp contrast. The clothes both highlight the fragility of Xecty as well as the fearsome warrior in her. The gothic lolita style dress coat and the frilly skirt give the figure makers of Kotobukiya plenty of platform to show off their workmanship. The folds along her sleeves and hem of the skirt are made to the last detail, it both portrays the texture of the clothing and the dark elf's beautiful body shape beneath it.

Xecty is the best
No faulting Kotobukiya with their new Xecty figurine. This one maintains their usual quality. Highly detailed and as a previous reviewer mentioned a lot fine fragile pieces on the figurine mean that you should handle with great care. I also appreciate the figurine being fixed to the base which seems to be someting Kotobukiya are making as the standard. That should mean no breakages when trying to fix a figurien to the base!

One other point worth mentioning is the plastic packaging system used. As it is all one piece of plastic hinged a the bottom the "2" protective sides drop away revealing the figurine which makes it easier and potentially safer to remove. Other manufacturers should take note.

I am content with my purchase.

A piece of ART!
Bought pretty much most of Shining Wind figures, I gotta to say I like this alot.
As expected from Kotobukiya, this figure is very detailed and beautifully done.
