Destroy oh Boy!
Terrific actioner that completely belies it budget game status from a developer (Sandlot) better known at time of release for it's mech games & who obviously approached the opportunity to stretch out and do something different with gusto. The sequels on PS2 & 360 are the more explosive games, but this first installment remains essential. Now somebody just license Zangeki no Reginleiv for the West whydontcha?

Sandlot does Sandlot games best
Sandlot's EDF games are just great. Good B-movie feel, but with the solid and simple gameplay to back it up.

It aint bad...
Utilising the same engine as Gigantic Drive, and developed by the same people (Sandlot), the game places you in the unenviable position of battling giant aliens through all manner of enviroments (from cities to beaches) with an even larger array of weaponry. Not to mention there is a selection of vehicles for the player to utilise. Overall, it\'s more than a little bit fun and not something that you get to see everyday (as in giant ants crawling all over buildings).
