good sleeper FPS
This FPS game really went under the rader. That is what happens when you have a billion FPS games out there with multibillion dollar advertisement budgets. This game will not blow you away but had a great single player campaign, and the "singulatry" part of the game adds some really clever elements that raised my eyebrows more than few times. This is probably my favorite NON-blockbuster FPS in the last year or two. The people who made this game also made Quake 4 and the Wolfenstien reboot (Raven Software). Their games never break any new ground, but always have solid single player experiences. All around solid game. never played multiplayer, so I can not comment. IMO if you are going to play mutliplayer then stick to a blockbuster title like COD, Halo, Killzone, or Battliefield. For games like this, the only thing they are good for is the singleplayer, and that is the only thing I buy them for. To penalize a game like this for crappy multiplayer is like penalizing a porche for its crappy back seats. you are never going to use a porche's back seats, they are only in there to keep insurance down.
