I had purchased this game a loooooooooong time ago...
This game was actually the very title that lead me to this site. I had seen a trailer for "PC Engine Best: Soldier Collection" on Youtube, and thought to myself "Wow, I sure wish I could play it on my PSP, but it's a JPN title." I then found out that the PSP was region free and could play games from all corners of the world. After that, I looked into how to import the game, found Playasia, bought it, and enjoyed that lovely little disk ever since.
The game is actually very good in of itself, playing 1 to 1 of their original counterparts (or at least so close any differences are negligible). Soldier Blade was a childhood favorite of mine, so getting to play it on the go, along with the ever elusive Super Star Soldier AND two other JPN only titles, all in one package, was just that much more of a treat.
"The Soldier Collection", as I normally refer to it as casually, became a lot of things to me. The start of my interaction to this amazing site, the realization of joy for importing games as an NA player that are normally out-of-reach, just being able to play a childhood favorite on the go, and ended up turning into on of my more glorious gems on the PSP (both sentimentally and as a collector). Even though I am a dumb english speaking turd living in the frozen north that doesn't know how to speak Japanaese (or read it for that matter), that detriment was never a roadblock for me to play this game.
