Item Description

Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk is the continuation of Tales of Symphonia from the Game Cube era. Due to Loyd's and Collette's efforts, the land has merged and this led to a change in climate and natural environment. Aside from the environmental disturbances, the social gaps between the former continents Silverland and Teseara are getting wider.Since Teseara is prosperous and technically advanced, its residents has always been looking down on Silverland. Being unfairly treated, the Silverlands blame Teseara, Loyd and Collette for their misfortunes. Skirmishes and violence become increasingly intense and eventually leads to the blood bath of Panacosta where large numbers of innocents die.The sequel to the popular RPG features both old and new heroes and wraps up the lose ends from the previous game. Prove to the people that creatures of different races can live together in peace, this much awaited game features a battle system which allows you to make allies out of beasts and monsters.

great game
after playing Tales of Graces this game feels more limited, the map is so limited and u dont feel that u can explore the whole world of this Tales,u have to clear certain event to unlock next areas and so on,the characters from preview game Tales of Symphonia only can level to 50 on this game and have limit, the good thing is that u can catch monsters to put in your party and level up them, they are very helpful, feels like Pokemon sometimes but its a cool feature.

the graphics are same quality has Tales of Graces so is cool to have the same 3D visuals.

overall this is a great game, and for fans of the first is a must have.

For fans of the first
There's probably a reason that Tales of Symphonia got a direct sequel. It was my favorite Gamecube game and I loved it enough to play the Playstation 2 as well. People who enjoyed the first will definitely be attracted to this game for its nostalgic factor.

Its nice to see the characters again and more fulfilling than the anime that was released. The unfortunate part is that you don't really have all the characters together in one party like the first, so it doesn't have quite that homey feel. You play as another character, Emil, and meet all the past characters throughout the game.

The first thing you will notice about this game is that it doesn't have the same cell-shaded appearance as the first game. It looks more like Tales of the Abyss, except just a little more crisp. The combat feels a lot like Tales of the Abyss too. Fast-paced, and I never felt myself sighing when entering battles.

The world map is gone and replaced by waypoint traveling. I enjoyed running around on the mini map in the first game, leveling up, but I suppose it does take some tedium away.

If you enjoyed the first, you'll probably try to play this one regardless. I probably won't replay it as many times as the first game, but it is a worthwhile game.
