Item Description

Take on the role of Tao, a young magical student trying to master the Magical Arts. One day, the Demon Seal from a faraway Monster Tower cracked and let loose hoards of ferocious ancient monsters. In Tao's village, the village of the Bente Island, an extremely powerful monster curses the townspeople, including Tao's family, turning them all into stone. Tao must find a way to master the art of magic, repair the Demon Seal, destroy the curse and save his family. In order to break the curse, Tao must find the monster egg of the ancient monster that cursed his family, Straitser. With that egg, he can return to the village and the last remaining elders can break the evil curse, although if Tao does not return by the next full moon, the curse will never be broken.

Tao\'s Adventure is worth owning, hands down.
For all the bad press this game has gotten, the average RPG fan may have already decided to pass it up. For you reading this though, DON\'T. If a semi-tactical RPG with seamless transitions between movement and battle sounds like your taste, then read on. The collection of animals to summon to aid in battle, the ability to cast spells with the swipe of your stylus, the music and graphics that make a game look and sound great... all present. Konami did a great job with this dungeon crawler and any DS owning RPG fan should do themselves a favor, look past the bad press Tao\'s has gotten, and give this game a fair chance. If you haven\'t fallen in love after 2 hours of honest gameplay, then no, this probably isn\'t a game for you. But do give it those 2 hours. You may just find yourself like me... in love with a great dungeon crawler.
