Half-hearted compilation
--The Good--
Perfect reproduction of gameplay in all titles. Speedy performance and little to no load times at all. Special functions such as 'rolling' and 'knock-down attacks' can be assigned to the button of your choice. Handy (although buggy) training modes and an interesting challenge mode (it's short and easy, though). A blast to play as long as you have a Classic Controller PRO (a must) and definitely better than the PS2 and PSP versions.

--The Bad--
Unfortunately, everything else: Horrid opening sequence, main menus and presentation overall. Glaring graphic glitches during in-game demos (openings, endings and story demos) and many transitions and visual effects are missing (most notably, the 'red flash' after a KO and the fade-to-white after a whole team is beaten). Missing animations and music in stage intros and demos, respectively.
Little to no options available (control config, sound and game difficulty is all you get). No time config, no 1 vs 1 mode, no language options (you get the infamously known "japanese-to-engrish" pseudo-translation), no arranged music setting (the game has the music available only in a 'media gallery mode'), no saving options of any kind in any arcade game as only 'challenge mode' unlockables get saved.

--Conclusion--
As a long-time fan, I can safely say KOF Orochi Saga is not an effort deserving of the franchise because of the downright-awful presentation and lack of options. However, as a $13.00 title it's not a bad purchase considering gameplay is flawless and its comfortable to have all games on a home console.

And, I insist, you shouldn't pay any higher than this.
