King of Fighters Maximum Impact Maniax brings back the thrills and excitement of the classic fighting franchise. A city lies in ruins as Southtown is the prize in a war between rival gangs. A small group of warriors decides to try & bring the city under their control, so they arrange a meeting with the most powerful gang eader, "Mephistopheles". The maniac gang lord agrees, on one condition: Before meeting him, they must prove themselves by defeating the greatest fighters in the world.
