Link its your birthday, Happy Birthday Link ink!
Before i write this review the game is completly in Japanese, but is not extensively text based, you may if you are lucky be able to navigate the game with a game guide, should you in the future be able to locate a source for the wind waker in english and this is your only viable choice
Now, this is based long in the future, after the events of Ocarina of time, i assume Link the young link went back in time, and this is his timeline? correct me if im wrong, but the world is now a half dozen floaty islands, because you know who is back, bigger, badder, and more evil then ever.
You, a descendant of the legendary hero link, live on an island, with your grandma, sister and i think a few other islanders, i wasnt paying attention to detail, it strikes me as odd how they had a house on a small island in the middle of oceans, but this is a videogame, what more can you do?
So, just to give people a vague idea of the first few moments of the game, you start off on a colorful cell shaded island, with your sister, she says its your birthday, and you end up going home to get your clothes etc, and meeting her again to get your present, equiping your present and some stuff happens, just follow the flow and look around a bit talk to a few people go home a few times if stuck and a major event should happen
Anyway one of the biggest sources of enjoyment to me in zelda games is the music, this game does not disapoint, its catchy, fun, light hearted and playable
the graphics are cell shaded, beautiful to the eye and just amazing
battle system is instantly playable
Story is okay you have dungeons :), easy as they are Hahah..
i know i am spoiling and being mean when i say this but 70 percent i would guess through the game you have to gather a ton of tri force piece fragments from the ocean, be prepared to shake your fist in anger at Nintendo for subjecting you to I AM SAAAAAAAAILLLLING experience for hours finding them.
oh and did i say you have to SAAAAAAAAIIIIIIL?
