Good Game
I was debating on whether to give this 3 or 4 stars, but for the most part it's a very good game. However, as you progress in it you realise there's a few major faults.

Firstly, the difficulty is way off. On Normal you'll breeze the career mode with little to no opposition. On Hard, you'll not win a set. The spike is crazy and not very friendly.

Secondly, the game is very easy to exploit. Online there's serves that are impossible to defend and the top rank players can Ace you every time. On Single player there's a way to exploit the AI, but kind of defeats the purpose of the game.

The 2k servers are some of the worst I've ever seen so the game really only shines in local co-op which is excellent. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because there's an excellent Tennis game in there somewhere. It's more realistic than Top Spin (which is an excellent game in its own right) and that's what sets it apart from VT. Just a shame some wonky mechanics have stopped it from being an amazing game.

Not easy to learn
This game is pretty fun, but it ain't easy for a beginner to pick it up. Unless you have the patience to try it out till you get it. Otherwise, the gameplay is pretty decent.

Fun At First
I have played since TS3, its the same thing but the mechanics are improved and it is a lot better overall but sadly the game runs in to the same problem.... The gameplay gets super boring, I played for about 2 weeks then boredom kicked in and I ejected the disc.

Not perfect, but a good challenge
There are still a few annoying bugs here and there, and the load times are typically painful...also changing outfits e.t.c is kind of inefficient and time consuming... oh and the academy (training) doesn't go much beyond the basics...

BUT So far I'm playing 2 careers (one with the move controller, one with the regular) and enjoying both styles of play. I'm playing on hard difficulty and it really is quite hard...but I think that's a good thing in the long run. The graphics are pretty nice and once you get used to the strange timing of the shots it's really a tennis game to sink your teeth into. Now that the price has come down, I really recommend it.
