Zombie Police: Midsummer Unhappy New Year is a comedy-mystery adventure that follows the returning detective duo Akemi Kabane and Yasu Tamura as they investigate a gruesome VTuber livestream incident in Shimofuri Village, a mysterious settlement trapped in winter despite the middle of summer, with the new Zombie Dive ability adding an unusual way to uncover hidden clues.

Zombie Police: Midsummer Unhappy New Year follows zombie detective Akemi Kabane and her junior partner Yasu Tamura as they investigate a disturbing incident connected to a VTuber livestream in Shimofuri Village.
