Lollipop Chainsaw is the ‘un-deadly’ story of sweet and killer zombie-hunter Juliet Starling and her quest to uncover the root of a colossal zombie outbreak. With her wickedly awesome chainsaw in hand, Juliet slices, dices and splits her way through hordes of the undead, but soon realizes the horde is only the opening act to a festival of zombie rock lords determined to kill the chainsaw-wielding cheerleader. Lollipop Chainsaw is being developed by GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE, led by celebrated game developer Goichi Suda (aka SUDA 51) and featuring the musical compositions of the renowned Akira Yamaoka. In addition, Hollywood director and writer James Gunn (Super, Slither, Dawn of the Dead, Tromeo and Juliet) has brought his cult humor and edgy storytelling to Lollipop Chainsaw’s script.

Sexy

Just one word for the game.

I love this game.

I have always wanted to play this game because of the sexy heroine so years later I finally got a copy after taking the jump with a PS3 console.

Gameplay is not for filthy casuals whose definition of gameplay is poke and swipe on a phone, tablet, or with a mouse in a browser game all day. The game is challenging and does not have that much hand holding that most games have nowadays although I would love to hold the hand, and every part of Juliet hur hur. You get attacks with the chainsaw and the pompoms. Additional attacks can be bought at in game store using medals that are collected in the game. Other items that can be purchased are costumes and recovery items. Some of the minigames are annoying though like the one in the baseball field

I really like the graphics. It has this cellshaded graphics with thick outlines that remind me of american comics. Stylish. I prefer games that look different as opposed to the majority of games that take the PC-MASTER-RACE realistic graphics route.

The music in the game is superb. Sparkle hunting mode has a variety of tracks, including that Hey Mickey song that I think is very appropriate for Juliet in her cheerleader outfit.

The bosses are varied. I like this. They also have a sense of humour that I last saw in games like GOD HAND which is another superb game.

My review

This is one of the best of Suda51 game to date. The jokes in this game are funny, but will lose the funniness quite fast. Some mini games in this game is quite annoying, and it'll need some effort to overcome it. Overall this is a solid game with much fun and fan service, a must have for Suda51 fans.
