Coinciding with the launch of the Nintendo Classic Super Famicom, this book features the 21 games included in the revived home console! This magazine also features 2 large appendices on a DVD-ROM:

- Appendix one contains converted PDF scans of all the original "Nintendo Famicom Magazine" issues that were previously published during the Famicom era. Please keep in mind that these are scans of printed pages before the digital era. They show irregularities in the original’s fabric due to corrosion. In order to view the contents of the DVD-ROM, it is necessary to have a device that can open ROMs and browse PDFs. Please note that DVD players, DVD recorders etc. connected to TV are not able to display these. Out of respect for the historical background, all articles on the DVD - ROM are kept in their original state of release. Although almost all articles are collected in cooperation with the manufacturer, some parts needed to be removed due to copyright issues.
- A separate appendix on the DVD-ROM also includes the scans of the original "Famimaga" issue at the time of "Star Fox" + "Star Fox 2", including a game guide.

There are more than 1500 pages on the DVD-ROM that include all the 20 games’ "ultra technical" detail descriptions which originally appeared in the "Daigirin" mook. And it comes as a given that this mook contains the beloved articles from "Cho Ultrateku 50+1" and "Disk-kun no Manga Pics".

取扱説明書がわりに利用できる新作紹介記事も楽しんでください!●付録DVD-ROMに収録されているのは、「クラシックミニファミリーコンピュータ」収録ゲームが発売された当時の『ファミリーコンピュータMagazine』を画像スキャンし、PDF化したものです。誌面のデジタルデータそのものではなく、古い雑誌からのスキャンになりますので、劣化による痛み、汚れ、製本による歪みなどが画像に写り込んでいる場合がありますのでご了承ください。
●付録DVD-ROMの内容を閲覧するには、DVD-ROMが読み込め、PDFの閲覧が可能なパソコン等の環境が必要です。TVに接続するDVDプレイヤー、DVDレコーダー等では閲覧できませんのでご注意ください。
●付録DVD-ROMには、制作当時のオリジナリティ、時代背景を尊重し、記事を当時のまま収録しています。また、各メーカー様のご協力により、ほぼ全ての記事を収録しておりますが、一部肖像権やイラストの権利関係などで掲載されていないページや企画、箇所があります。ご了承ください。

A digital archive treasure box!

The print magazine itself is just OK, but the real treasure lies in the DVD-ROM. I wish all classic video game magazines whether English or Japanese would come out with a DVD-ROM containing scans of all their past issues, it's a digital record of an important part of video gaming history.
