You're a sponge. You're on a raft. The river is trying to destroy you. In SPONGE BREAK, players embark on a chaotic cooperative rafting adventure where teamwork, physics-based disasters, and unpredictable river hazards turn every journey into a hilarious fight for survival. Whether playing solo or with up to three friends, you'll need to work together to steer a fragile raft through dangerous rapids while avoiding countless threats along the way.
Armed with a trusty plunger-hook, players must navigate environmental hazards, solve puzzles to unlock new paths, avoid catching fire, and even battle hostile beavers. The game features drop-in co-op gameplay, allowing friends to join at any time, while proximity voice chat makes communication an important—and often entertaining—part of the experience. Sponge characters even lip-sync to player voices, adding extra charm to every frantic moment.
Physics play a major role in every run. One wrong turn can flip the raft, scatter valuable supplies, and leave the crew scrambling to recover. Players can grapple objects, gather loot, and share resources through a communal raft stash, though keeping those valuables safe is often easier said than done.
As the adventure progresses, players travel through multiple biomes including sewers, rivers, and abandoned facilities. Between levels, safehouses provide opportunities to repair, revive teammates, restock supplies, and prepare for the next leg of the journey. With over 100 unlockable cosmetic options, plenty of environmental challenges, and endless co-op chaos, SPONGE BREAK offers a memorable rafting adventure full of laughter and unexpected disasters.
