My Second Favorite Tower Defense Game!
What a joy it was to discover that this game was available (in English!) on Playasia. I really didn't want to create a Japanese Eshop account on my switch and I prefer physical releases anyway, so win-win.
I tried getting into the free mobile version on my phone, but really hated the micro-transactions for pretty much everything in the game.
What we have here is a paid version of a free to play game, meaning that you pay one price, own it forever and no microtransactions! You basically get 50 free cat food once every login after every 6 hours (although honestly I think its 8-10 hours sometimes; I have timed it and it doesn't work after 6).
My one nitpick with this game is the quality of the 2D sprites - meaning you can tell which battle cats are from the original game which they just imported, vs the brand new ones they made just for this game. Seriously it was a little distracting having an HD sprite right next to what looks like a sprite they pulled from the 3DS version.
Regardless I love the 3DS version of this game and if you like tower defense games and quirky Japanese humor I cannot recommend this enough!
Unrelated, but my favorite tower defense game is the first plants vs zombies :)

Superadictivo y divertido
Ya jugué al de la Nintendo 3DS y me encantó, no pude dejarlo de jugar hasta que lo terminé. Por desgracia no ha salido en mi país (España) así que me pillé esta versión que tiene idioma inglés. Desde que lo recibí no he parado de jugarlo y me encanta!

Fun and Challenging Strategy
An older modified version of the mobile title but without micro transactions. Great game wish more gacha games would do stuff like this.

A Mobile Game With Removed Microtransactions
Battle Cats Unite began as a mobile game. But in this version, all of the micro transactions are removed. Instead, you gain everything in-game and don't have to spend any additional money. This makes it a safe game to get addicted to, you aren't going to break your wallet.

It's a tower defense style game where you send out a variety of cat units to attack your enemies forces. Defeat the enemy base to win the stage.

The game is whacky and full of crazy characters. The game can be brutally difficult or quite easy depending on the units you send out, thus allowing you to customize the difficulty to your liking.

With a 2 player mode this is also a fun game to play with a friend or sibling.

The gameplay is a bit simplistic though and if you overdo it, it may grow old a bit fast. So pace yourself for best results.
