The legendary 3-on-3 fighting game series that united rival brawlers from SNK Playmore’s classic arcade franchises celebrates its 15th Anniversary in style with the release of The King of Fighters XII. For the first time in its history, this epic martial arts showdown has undergone a complete graphical overhaul. The game is decent
There are a lot of favorite characters missing from this game. The gameplay mechanics are solid, but I would preferred they kept the mechanics intact from KOF XI. KOF XI is generally considered either 1st or 2nd best KOF to date. Of course there's no storymode due to it being a dream match, but usually a dream match contains more characters. I really don't care that it doesn't have a story. But there's no special challenge mode or anything else. **And the characters mostly have only one DM, and no SDM....?? what the hell? The graphics are awesome and I'm sure they will be used in XIII. SNK already knows they screwed up with this game and I'm sure they will straighten out a lot of this mess in the next installment.

I say buy the game so you can add it to your KOF collection. It's a decent game, but not great....

Decent game.
Offline play is pretty good with new gameplay mechanics. New sprites look cool as well. Just that the online play is laggy and the modes are lacking for single player.

KOF XII patch has improved netcode
The patch released back in September 09 has greatly improved the netcode and makes the game finally enjoyable online.
KOF XII is one of the most fast-paced versus fighting game around. As true KOF fan you should not miss this one.
Asian version works flawlessly on European PS3.
