Only a small PSA
This is the chinese version.
Aside from the japanese version which (from what I know has japan texts only anyways, therefore for most of us not an option), an other physical version is not available for purchase (again, from what I know, feel free to correct me).
As promised english is available and (in my case ...

No title
A collection of first three Etrian Odyssey games.
Pro: These are all great (nowadays I would even say classic) dungeon RPGs ("dungeon crawlers") with the focus on party creation, leveling up and reaching the top (or the bottom) of the dungeon. Originals were released a long time ago on the Nintendo DS and are hard to come by and are quite expensive to get. Especially the third one. So this is a neat way to have them all three in one package on a modern platform (with some quality-of-life improvements). All three games look, run and play great. Beware: Only Asian release has English on the cartridge!
Con: Unfortunately, it is a remake of "vanilla" versions of the first two games and not a remake of their enhanced versions from the Nintendo 3DS (called Etrian Odyssey Untold 1 and 2). Those versions added a story (with FMV cutscenes) and 3D models of monsters in the dungeons. However, opinions on the quality of the story vary. Some say it is valuable addition (especially to people not so well familiar with the DRPG genre), some others say that the story was not needed and the player created his own while crawling through the dungeons.
Anyway, this release is an essential purchase for any (D)RPG fan or a collector!

Great game
I sadly if you get the Japanese game it is only in Japanese language. The game is still enjoyable but if you want the game in another language make sure to not get this version.

English language as advertised
All I wanted was a completely physical copy. As of this review (Dec. 2023), it still seems to be the only way to have a physical cart that plays in the English language. I tried out all three games and it is fully in English, so that is all I wanted.
