“High Flying”by Hiromasa Suzuki is a standout jazz release presented in a classic vinyl format, offering a rich and immersive analog listening experience. Known for his work as a pianist and composer, Hiromasa Suzuki delivers a collection of tracks that blend jazz fusion, groove-oriented rhythms, and sophisticated arrangements, creating a dynamic and engaging sound.
From J-DIGS, a project that shares Nippon Columbia's catalog with the world, six Japanese jazz masterpieces are reissued on analog vinyl. Hiromasa Suzuki, the key figure behind Hiroshi Suzuki's "Romance" and Jiro Inagaki's "Breeze", gathered a luxurious lineup and created a masterpiece that perfected the crossover sound. Hiromasa Suzuki was a composer, arranger, and keyboardist who was active widely in the Japanese music world, not only in jazz but also in popular songs, films, television, and commercials. From the late 1960s to the mid-1970s, he was deeply involved in works by Terumasa Hino, Akira Ishikawa, Jiro Inagaki, and others during their most cutting-edge period, demonstrating his skill. This work, recorded in 1976, is where his innovation, always one step ahead of the times, was displayed in its fullest form. A pre-fusion / crossover masterpiece also featuring the young Shuichi Ponta Murakami, Akira Okazawa, and Masayoshi Takanaka.
Hiromasa Suzuki is a Japanese jazz pianist and composer known for his fusion-style compositions and expressive keyboard work.
