Orbitals is an intergalactic 2‑player co‑op puzzle adventure on Nintendo Switch 2 that blends teamwork-focused gameplay with a vibrant retro anime-inspired world. Players take on the roles of Maki and Omura, two explorers on a mission to save their damaged space station, which is trapped inside a mysterious cosmic storm.
Designed from the ground up for asymmetric cooperative play, the game requires two players to work closely together—either locally or online. Each character has unique tools and abilities, and success depends on communication and coordination to solve puzzles, overcome hazards, and progress through levels
Gameplay includes navigating asteroid fields, abandoned stations, and space environments, where players must pilot their ship and complete puzzles that can only be solved through teamwork.
The game also features cinematic cutscenes, full voice acting, and an original soundtrack, all inspired by classic Japanese anime aesthetics, giving it a distinctive visual and storytelling style.
