Honestly, I don't know why I didn't buy this sooner.
Final Fantasy VII and VIII are pretty classic and having them on a physical game card is what I wanted. So, I'm shocked it took so long for me to buy this. The Nintendo Switch is region free, so it just makes sense to save some space on my memory card with excellent games in physical form.

Love the extra features! Best bang for your buck!
I've gotta say that I'm happy these two games are available for Switch.

The quality-of-life features are really convenient for someone like me who, unlike 20 years ago (when I had these on PS1), has less time to grind and level up. These features are great for that. They also make the game a little more forgiving for those just starting out.

That said, another reason I bought this Twin Pack is because of the language features. When I switch my console's language to any one that's listed above (see product description), it changes the game's language. For example, if I switch my console's language to Japanese, the games boot in Japanese. Very handy for language learning!

Thank you for offering this, PlayAsia!

Nice to have a physical copy!
Not much to add to what most have said here already. If you have any interest in getting these, I'd recommend the physical copy. The only thing that could have improved this was if Square-Enix included FF IX and got the PS1 trilogy on one Switch card. Nice to have the option of tv and on-the-go play styles. The speed-up feature makes it infinitely more playable too.

good game!!
It's rare that a groundbreaking, captivating classic comes to a modern system let alone two packaged together for a physical release. With both games on a single cartridge, there's a lot to love here. Unless you've been living under a rock for the last.. 20 years, you should know that Final Fantasy VII is considered to be one of the best games ever made and an essential to any RPG gamer's library. When you throw in the next title that was nearly as good although not as popular, you have a package that you'll be drooling over. While FF7 doesn't have the remastering I had hoped that Final Fantasy 8 did receive, it's still very much a title NOT to be missed. With a maddeningly awesome soundtrack and sound effects, two EPIC stories, one sadistic villain, loveable characters, and just as satisfying gameplay, you need this NOW! This title needs more exposure and if you've any interest at all... BUY IT! You won't regret it! And I haven't even touched up on the additions. Let's just say you can breeze by them or play them the way they were meant to be played with newly added features that let you always have limit breaks, no random enemy encounters and speeding up gameplay. Enjoy!!
