Culdcept comes to the DS! Omiya Soft, who handled the previous versions of Culdcept, will be working on this title as well.New cards will be introduced in the DS version, alongside revised past cards. Battles and trading with other players is possible through both the systems wireless and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection features. "There are over 370 card types including new ones. Some of the new cards will also be quite powerful ones," said Producer of Omiya Soft, Hideo Suzuki to Famitsu.Additionally, Culdcept veteran Satoshi Nakai, who has designed the cards since the first game, will again handle card illustration.Fans of previous Culdcept games should be happy, as Omiya Soft is using the previous versions as a base line for the DS title. "Culdcept DS will be based on the PlayStation 2 version 'Culdcept 2: Expansion,' with adjustments made on the overall game balance and revision on the card's abilities," commented Suzuki. "Also, the basic rules are easier to understand even for beginners since we have added what was implemented in the Dreamcast version 'Culdcept Second.'"

Takes a while..

But once you've got the hang of it, expect to lose a lot of time to this game :)

Incredibly addictive...

I approached this game with quite a bit of hesitance; to be quite frank it didn't look like much. Once i started understand the basic mechanics of play however, i found myself hopelessly addicted. One more round before i got to bed, go to work, study for exams, it's that good. WiFi play is awesome as well. Anyway, fans of trading card games andor board games will love this game. Give it a try...
