Description de l'article

Entertaining!
Let's pros and cons this game.
Gameplay: As a person who doesn't play fps games often, when I first picked this game, I learned the ropes pretty quickly and the shortcuts (for me) was quite efficient.
Despite providing you with a range of guns and explosives, Far Cry 3 also allow you to do stealth kills and, my favorite weapon: a bow! You even get to make special arrows like explosive arrows and fire arrows! That's just epic.

By upgrading your skills (or tataw) you can close in on an enemy and do stealth kills, chain kills, knife throwing kill, grenade kill, killing from below, above and all that fancy not-get-caught kills.
Also, if you manage to free an outpost without being detected, you get a better exp reward.

You can hold up to 4 different guns at a time and several explosives (C4, Grenade, Molotov, Landmine). However, in order to increases the maximum number of anything you hold (ammo, rucksack, money, etc) you'll need to hunt animals and collect their skins.
You can find them in the wild but sometimes a mini mission would tell you to hunt a particular number of animal that is enough to upgrade your items.

Some things I don't like is that by reconnecting the radio tower, you'll unlock guns at the shops for free. You no longer need to buy them, hence, you no longer need to spend money on anything but ammo and consumables. Eventually, you'll keep earning money without knowing what to spend it on. Especially if you're like me who collects container and do side quests way more often than doing the main quest.
I understand it's a good thing to do but once I bought all gun attachment and paint jobs, I'm not sure what I'll be using the money for.

Being an open world game allows you to explore the beautiful island. My favorite part of exploring is when you collect relics, you get to go into these secret caves that requires you to swim underwater, climb rocks or get inside a cave only to exit through a waterfall. These layouts are epic and I love it.

Story: The story is okay. Rich kids on an island gets kidnapped and are forced to deal with the rough bitter reality called life. Jason Brody is an okay character. Sometimes the dialog between him and some side missions person is funny. Sometimes I find his personality lacking of something. I think Daisy (Grant's gf) is a much hotter and dependable girl than Liza, Jason's gf. I wish he'd have went with her instead.
However, I like, nay, LOVE Vaas. He's the reason why I play this game on xbox360 and why I played it again in ps3. His personality is obvious from the get-go and his insanity is adorable. Or maybe I'm just sick in the head but I got bored once I "killed" Vaas and had to move on to Hoyt.

I spoiled myself by reading the ending of the game..and knowing what'll happen, I'm not really looking forward to end it just because it doesn't sound satisfying. But I'm writing this before finishing the game so don't take my word on it.

Also, the setting of the place is supposed to be somewhere in Micronesia and, as a person from Asia (particularly Indonesia) I understand the words that they use in the dialog. Which is cool when I first played it. But then, the more I "hang out" with the natives, the more I get annoyed by their accent because it sounded ... either British or African or faked Asian. They don't really sound like the place where they claim to be in...
Vaas is obviously not from micronesia since the actor playing him isn't from there but Citra speaks with my language but not the right accent.
It's a shame that they've made the story quite realistic with the Japanese soldier that's all over the island (since they did invade the area) and the "Keris" knife that Buck is so intent to find, and the correct dialog. Just not the right people..except for Vaas. He's awesome. No need to change him.
For one thing, Dennis the outsider has an African accent. I could go all sensitive and call it insulting but I won't..

Music: They're okay. I like how you can play the radio on some cars. The music tend to indicate when you're spotted by an enemy and are being attacked which is a good thing. Nothing memorable about it...but I like the radio.

Graphic & misc: I'm never interested in High Quality graphic 1080p stuff as long as the game is enjoyable. The game has its glitches sometimes. Nothing so major that it affects the gameplay but, speaking about the offline co-op that I played with my nephew, it has annoying glitches. Items are sometimes invisible when you pick it up, one character would load a little slower than the other when we restart.

The co-op is still a fun game to do outside the single player though. Especially since it has its own (unrealistic) story set 6 months prior to the main story. Which probably triggers why the pirates & Vaas hates them foreigners so much?

Overall, this game is quite addicting and frustrating when I'm trying to go all stealthy. It's still fun if you like killing people and random people calling you their friend and claim that the work you've done to reclaim the outpost was all of their work. (One of my favorite dialog is a native saying: "this is all me!" when they're hanging out at the outpost I just freed. Jerk.)

It's a fun open world fps with amazing places to explore and being an adventurous person--who secretly wished I would get lost in the forest, get caught by Vaas' men and be forced to kill--it's one of the way I can fulfil my imagination.
